Tesla’s billionaire Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk took to his Twitter on Friday to express his thoughts that the coronavirus “panic” is “dumb”.
The coronavirus infected count crossed 100,000 globally on Friday. The coronavirus outbreak has claimed over 3,400 lives and has spread to more than 90 nations.
The outbreak has led to worrisome dips in the stock market. There have also been acute shortages of facemasks, disinfectants and other items, reminiscent of an apocalyptic movie.
Companies around the globe are requesting their employees to work from home and to stop corporate travel.
Stocks of Tesla have fallen more than 20% since the coronavirus outbreak.
Musk has more than 30 million followers and is extremely outspoken on his Twitter.
