Forbes Magazine: Kylie Jenner not a billionaire
(Entertainment) – Back to 2019, Forbes magazine had declared Kylie Jenner the world’s youngest self-made billionaire. On Friday, the Forbes Magazine reported that it no longer believed that her net worth was that much.
Forbes reviewed Coty financial data, which purchased a 51% stake in Kylie Cosmetics back in November 2019.
According to financial filings given by Forbes, it appears as though “Kylie’s business is significantly smaller and less profitable than the family has spent years leading the cosmetics industry and media outlets, including Forbes, to believe.
22-year-old Jenner’s net worth is now believed to be at around $900 million.
Jenner took to Twitter on Friday to report that the recent story was based on “a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions.”
“What am I even waking up to. I thought this was a reputable site,” Jenner wrote.
Jenner also said she was “blessed beyond my years, I have a beautiful daughter, and successful business and I’m doing perfectly fine. I can name a list of 100 things more important right now than fixating on how much money I have.”
