On Saturday, May 6, 2023, The King and Queen Consort will be crowned in Westminster Abbey. Moreover, the Whole UK started the preparation of Coronation event of king.
The Archbishop of Canterbury will preside over the service, which will reflect the Monarch’s position today and look to the future while remaining entrenched in long-standing traditions and pageantry.
Their Majesties will arrive at Westminster Abbey in a procession known as ‘The King’s Procession’ from Buckingham Palace.
The Coronation Weekend
The Coronation of The King and The Queen Consort will be honoured by a series of events across the country. Including a concert at Windsor Castle. Their Majesties wish people to spend the Coronation Weekend with their friends, family, and communities.
Their Majesties will return to Buckingham Palace in a grander ceremonial procession known as ‘The Coronation Procession’ following the Service. Besides other members of the Royal Family will accompany Their Majesties in this procession.
The King and Queen Consort will arrive on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Members of the Royal Family escort them. To end the day’s ceremonial ceremonies.
The Coronation Concert
The BBC and BBC Studios will broadcast a spectacular Coronation Concert live from Windsor Castle on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Thousands of pairs of tickets are available through a public ballot, which has already ended.

The Coronation Big Lunch, which invites neighbours and communities to share food and fun together. That will take place across the UK on Sunday, May 7, 2023.
The Big Help Out
