A large audience came from all over to watch the young star, who has earned more than 300 million views on YouTube, with his debut album, Episodes, spending seven weeks at No 1 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums in the Philippines to date.
Tabudlo rose to fame as a result of his participation in The Voice Kids Philippines. A few years later, he started writing songs and producing music, and in 2020 joined Island Records Philippines, where he continued to build his identity as a musician, releasing songs such as ‘Nangangamba’ and ‘Sigurado’.
Though young, Tabudlo’s success is a major milestone for the music world in the Philippines, with one of his songs emerging as the most-streamed in the Philippines in 2021. At his Expo concert, the 19-year-old singer showcased his guitar skills, with ripples of excitement spreading through the audience, who sang along in Tagalog and English.
Tabudlo said that he was extremely happy to be at Expo 2020 Dubai. He considers Dubai to be the city of dreams, and he thanked the audience who came to see him live. “Had it not been for you, I would not have become who I am today,” he said.
