BEIJING (CHINA) – China reported 25 new coronavirus cases in the mainland on August 11, the health authority said on Wednesday.
The National Health Commission said in a statement that 16 of the new infections were spread from imported sources. The remaining nine were locally transmitted cases, of which the origin was traced from the Xinjiang region. There were no new deaths.
As of August 11, mainland China reported a total of 84,737 confirmed coronavirus cases.
