FRANKFURT (Business) – Uniper’s first-quarter operating profit has more than tripled, mainly due to its gas business as well as higher power prices.
Uniper utility group, majorly owned by Finland’s Fortum, confirmed its outlook and planned dividend for 2020. First-quarter adjusted earnings prior to interest and tax stood at 651 million euros, a hike from 185 million last year.
