LONDON (UK) – Prince Harry and Meghan posted their last message as the British royal family’s working members on Monday before embarking on new careers dropping their “Royal Highness” styles.
In January, Harry and Meghan shocked the royal family with their announcement of stepping down from their royal roles. Harry’s 93-year-old grandmother Queen Elizabeth brokered a deal for the couple to go their own way starting April.
Starting Wednesday, Harry and Meghan can pursue new careers and get financial independence while spending most of their time in North America.
However, the couple can no longer use “royal” as part of their branding and have dropped the titles of HRH.
35-year-old Harry is sixth in line to the throne and will remain a prince but will have to relinquish his military appointments.
“While you may not see us here, the work continues. We look forward to reconnecting with you soon. You’ve been great! Until then, please take good care of yourselves, and of one another.”

The couple will no longer use their Sussex Royal Instagram handle or website. Even the Sussex Royal Foundation which was in the process of being set up by the couple will be wound up.
Travalyst was a sustainable tourism initiative launched by Harry which shall continue as an independent non-profit body.
The couple tied the knot in May 2018 and their son Archie was born a year later. Over the next few months, the couple will focus on their family and on developing their future non-profit organisation.
