LONDON – Since Harry and Meghan’s exit from their royal roles last month, Queen Elizabeth made her first official appearance.
The Queen visited the Royal Airforce (RAF) base in Marham to see the demonstrations and meet with trainees.
This was her first official outing since her grandson and his wife surprised the royal family with their announcement to withdraw from their roles to seek out a more financially independent future in North America.
The 93-year-old monarch donned a peach-coloured outfit on her visit to RAF Marham as her Honorary Air Commodore role, smiling to shake hands with the staff.
The base opened in 1916 and employs more than 3600 people to defend Norfolk from German airship raids during WWI.
