SHANGHAI (Asia) – Three new confirmed COVID-19 cases have been reported on China’s mainland for May 23. This comes shortly after the first day with no new coronavirus cases since the outbreak began.
Two of the three new cases were imported while one was a local transmission.
Friday marked the first day when China saw no daily rise in cases since the pandemic began late last year.
