England shall soon formally register the COVID-19 as a “notifiable” disease.
A BBC Report on Wednesday indicated that the COVID-19 which is a disease caused by the novel coronavirus will be registered as a notifiable disease.
This is to mitigate the impact of coronavirus on businesses, according to a Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) spokesperson.
This move of marking coronavirus as a notifiable disease will allow companies to seek out compensation via insurance policies if any of their events are cancelled owing to the spread of the coronavirus.
Other regions in Britain have already classified the COVID-19 as a notifiable disease.
