LONDON (UK) – Piers Morgan, a broadcaster from Britain and and his comment that he did not believe a word Meghan had said in her landmark interview with Oprah Winfrey has upset the wife of Prince Harry so much so that she has complained to Britain’s media regulator about Morgan.
Morgan, a former tabloid editor and CNN presenter, left his high-profile job on ITV’s “Good Morning Britain” this week after a backlash against his comments on the interview, in which Meghan revealed she had felt suicidal while living as a royal in Britain. In a Tweet, he called her “Princess Pinocchio”.
a spokesman for Ofcom said, “We can confirm receipt of a standards complaint made on behalf of the Duchess of Sussex,” in reference to Meghan’s official title.
