LONDON (UK) – Meghan and Prince Harry urged Britain to tackle “structural racism” which they blamed for holding young people of colour back, said The Evening Standard in a report.
The grandson of Queen Elizabeth said in an interview with the newspaper that the country would be a better place if Whites understood more about people with colour.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have spoken about issues of race a number of times after relinquishing their roles as working members of the royal family and shifting to California in the US.
Meghan said in June she felt sorry that children were forced to grow up in a world where racism still existed and the events in the US following the death of George Floyd were “devastating”.
