LONDON (UK) – Market researcher Springboard said on Monday that shopper numbers in all British retail destinations have dropped for a second consecutive week. This was post the government’s new curbs to control the spread of COVID-19 as well as wet weather.
It said shopper numbers, or footfall, fell 3.5% last week versus the week before. This was prompted by a 7.1% drop in high street traffic.
