Sennder joins hands with logistics operator Poste Italiane

ROME (ITALY) – Sennder, a digital road freight platform, announced on Wednesday its plan to join hands with Italian logistics operator Poste Italiane to move parcels and mail between sorting and distribution hubs.

However, no financial terms were disclosed.

The joint venture will be named Sennder Italia S.r.l. and will target Poste Italiane’s 100 million euros a year long-haul road transportation efficiency. It will also cover the entire Full Truck Load network.

While the joint effort would manage all Italian transport operations for Sennder GmbH, Poste Italiane would benefit from savings of over 6% on its Full Truck Load expenditure.

Poste Italiane is the largest logistics operator in Italy and Sennder, which is based in Berling is a freight forwarder, running a tech platform that matches cargoes with trucks.
