Industrial orders in Germany drop 15.6% to record low in March

BERLIN (Business) – German industrial goods’ orders dived 15.6% in March to their lowest level since records began in 1991. This comes as the coronavirus slashed domestic and foreign demand for goods from Germany’s economy.

Statistics Office figures showed that domestic orders dropped 14.8% while orders from abroad were down 16.1%.
