On Saturday, Wales prop Wyn Jones believes France shall ‘cheat’ in the scrum when they face each other in Six Nations at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
France is looking forward to its first Six Nations win on Welsh soil since a decade and Jones warned the defending champions (Wales) that they must be alert.
“They’ll be a big pack, but probably ill-disciplined with that, especially at scrum time. We know they will hit and chase and cheat. That’s something we are fully aware of and something we’ve got to combat on the day.”\

France may have won its first two games in the championship, but Wales faced a more mixed start winning against Italy and losing to Ireland.
Jones anticipates consistent refereeing in their clash against France.
“In any aspect of the game, all you want is consistency, and maybe some calls are frustrating but you’ve just got to play what’s in front of you. We just keep evolving our scrum. That’s the kind of scrum we want, we want to be positive, a ‘no cheating’ mentality.”
