LONDON – On Tuesday, British broadcaster and host of BBC Radio 4’s ‘Just A Minute’ game show for over five decades, Nicholas Parsons died aged 96.
The actor, performer and entertainer appeared in both films and on stage and died of a short illness.
BBC Director-General Tony Hall claimed that no one deserves the label of ‘broadcasting legend’ more than Nicholas Parsons.
Parsons’ charm, inventive intellect and ability to make people laugh were unsurpassed. He was best known for Just A Minute where panellists have to speak for 60 seconds non-stop on a topic devoid of hesitation, deviation or repetition.
