Uganda security forces crack down on protests, 16 dead

KAMPALA (UGANDA) – As many as 16 people were killed over the past two days in Uganda in operations conducted by security personnel trying to quell protests triggered by the arrest of presidential candidate Bobi Wine, said police.

Police added 65 people had been injured while 350 people were arrested.
