WINSTON-SALEM (US) – President Donald Trump on Tuesday stepped up his efforts to highlight the China issue in the election campaign and accused Democratic rival Joe Biden of being a “globalist sellout”, blaming him for being the brain behind the widespread loss of American jobs.
“Joe Biden’s agenda is made in China. My agenda is made in the USA,” Trump said while addressing thousands of supporters at an outdoor rally at the airport in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
Ahead of the presidential election in November, China has become a flashpoint with the President blaming Biden of supporting trade policies leading to offshoring of American jobs.
“Biden is a globalist sellout who spent his career laying waste to American communities,” said Trump.
On the other hand, Biden blamed Trump for punishing US farmers and other industries by imposing harmful tariffs on goods made in China.
