Tel Aviv window washer girl’s mid-air dance makes her a TikTok star

TEL AVIV (ISRAEL) – Armed with a squeegee in one hand and smartphone in the other, 22-year-old Noa Toledo loves to jive in mid-air while washing windows of high-rise buildings. Her dance numbers over chasms of steel and glass have made her a social media star.

Noa, who wishes to encourage more women to come into her male-dominated job domain, has more than 60,000 followers and a million-plus “likes” on TikTok.

“When people see me behind the window, they’re surprised. They see a woman, it’s unusual,” said Noa, who is a former pole vault champion.

“I don’t know a lot of women doing this job, but I hope when they see me they understand that women can do it too.”

When Noa came rappelling down in a harness and helmet, Revital Friedman, who lives in a beachfront apartment complex, smiled and waved at her.

“She is divine,” Friedman said. “She is the only one to ask if I’m happy, if it’s really clean.”
