Stockholm extends curbs on visitors from outside EU
STOCKHOLM (SWEDEN ) – Stockholm on Thursday extended its temporary curbs on visitors to the European Union entering through Sweden till August 31. The restrictions were put in place in March to halt the spread of the coronavirus.
The restrictions aim to prevent unnecessary trips to the Sweden from nations other than those in the EU, such as Britain, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland.
Sweden’s decision follows the recommendations of the European Council.
