TOKYO – Masayoshi Son, founder of SoftBank, is not the most active Twitter user. He has put an end to his three-year Twitter absence by telling a follower that he would take action in response to his coronavirus concerns.
“It’s my first tweet in a long time. I am worried about the coronavirus situation. I am considering what contribution I can make.”
– Masayoshi Son
Son’s tweet got more than 10,000 likes and 3,000 retweets in the first hour since it was posted.
His past tweets were mainly company-focused. It wasn’t the first time he touched on societal issues, though.
