MADRID (Business) – On Thursday, Santander announced its plan to hire 3,000 new IT professionals this year around the globe to support its digital transformation and improve efficiency.
1,000 or so of the new hires will be in Spain for people with a background in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Last April, as part of a digital drive, Santander said it would invest 20 billion euros in technology until 2022.
