Haji Syed Salman Chishty, Gaddi Nashin-Dargah Ajmer Sharif and Chairman of the Chishty Foundation, represented the 800-year-old Sufi lineage of the Chishty Sufi Order from Ajmer Sharif and the Indian subcontinent at the 9th annual International Conference on Tasawwuf/ Sufism and World Peace in Istanbul, Turkey. The event was organised by the International Academy of Sufi Scholars and DarAsalaam Kulliasi.
Gaddi Nashin Haji Syed Salman Chishty talked about the importance of having a Sufi Understanding of the hearts among the peace-loving societies worldwide and he addressed the round table discussion along with Sufi Scholars from over 50 countries mainly from the Middle Eastern, North African, Central and South Asian, American, Balkans, EU and Russian Federations.
Parliament of World Sufis President and present Maizbhandar Darbar Bangladesh leader Shah Sufi Syed Saifuddin Ahmed Al Hasani Maizbhandari also participated in 9th International Conference on Sufism & World Peace 2020′ as a special guest & representative of Bangladesh.
The Humanitarian Message of Sufism is to be spread worldwide to establish global peace and this was delivered by Sufi Syed Saifuddin Ahmed Al Hasani Maizbhandari from Bangladesh at International Sufi Conference in Turkey.
Leading Islamic scholars, spiritual leaders, Sufi personalities & diplomats from 50 countries & organisations have taken part.
On Saturday, in his speech, Syed Saifuddin Ahmed Al Hasani Maizbhandari said, “Sufism is the main essence of Islam. Over the centuries, Sufi saints have been preaching the true message of Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) which carries the supreme ideologies of selfless love, tolerance, peace, harmony & humanity.”
The Chief Guest of the conference was Professor Dr Hasan Bashish from Diyanat Religious Ministry of Turkey, on behalf of Religious Minister of Turkey Dr Ali Arbash.
Greetings and important speeches were delivered by the convener of the conference, Dr Md Uzzan Al Hadis Amin, Shyakh Abdullah Shareef AI Uzzani from Morocco, Dr Solaiman Tijani from Nigeria, Shykh Dr Abdul Saari from Somalia, Dr Masum Ahmed from UK, Dr Md Motiullah Nodor Kaariji from Afghanistan, Dr Syeedi All Maun from Morocco, Sheikh Dr Bazou from Lebanon, Dr Ahmed Tijani Bin Omar from USA, Mufti Ahmed Taminn from Ukraine, Dr Mazen Cheriff from Tunisia & many other leading Sufi leaders from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Algeria, Malaysia, Bahrain, Indonesia, China, Dagestan, Jordan, Algeria, Spain, France, Trinidad and Tobago, South Africa, Egypt and many other countries also delivered their speeches.
For closing remarks, Haji Syed Salman Chishty extended warm regards and thanks on behalf of India and extended the personal invitation to all Sufi Spiritual leaders to visit India and experience the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of India.
