Russian airlines record 77.5% dip in passenger traffic in June amid coronavirus crisis
MOSCOW (RUSSIA) – Russian airlines witnessed a slump of 77.5% year-on-year in the number of passengers in June, said the federal aviation authority on Monday. Fewer people are travelling because of the new coronavirus pandemic.
Russian airlines ferried 2.84 million passengers, it said.
During the first half of the year, the number of passengers fell by 52% to touch 27.8 million.
