VATICAN CITY- On Sunday, Pope Francis cited the example of Jesus, Mary and Joseph as a model family and urged people to keep their phones away and talk to each other at mealtimes.
The pope address the faithful gathered in St Peter’s Square as part of his weekly Angelus address and said that they prayed, worked and communicated with each other.
The Pope questioned the crowd if they knew how to communicate with their families or if everyone sat at the table chatting on their phones- the silence akin to Mass but no one communicates.
He urged the crowd to get back to communicating within the families.
