No manipulation found in Wirecard’s financial statements in KPMG audit
On Thursday, Wirecard AG stated that the audit from KPMG did not spot discrepancies in the company’s India and Singapore operations audit as well as the Merchant Cash Advance & Digital Lending division.
The special investigation, now mostly completed, has “not produced any substantial findings” which need correction to the annual financial statements for 2016, 2017 and 2018 investigation periods.
Wirecard hired KPMG last year to conduct an independent audit to address Financial Times allegations of manipulating its accounts.
