Myanmar crisis: Junta-appointed minister flies to Thailand for talks

YANGON (MYANMAR) – The foreign minister appointed by the Myanmar junta flew to Thailand on Wednesday, said a government source. Neighbouring nations have stepped up efforts to resolve the crisis brewing in the country after the coup on Feb. 1.

Wunna Maung Lwin arrived for discussions with regard to diplomatic efforts taken by the Association of South East Asian Nations.
