MOSCOW (RUSSIA) – The Interfax news agency said on Wednesday that Russian authorities have issued an international arrest warrant for Leonid Volkov, an ally of Kremlin critic Alexei Navalny, based out of the country.
During this weekend, Volkov exhorted Russians to gather near their homes for a short Valentine’s Day protest by shining their mobile phone torches and lighting candles in heart shapes and flood social media platforms with those images.
Recently, tens of thousands of Russians have taken to the streets to protest against the detention of Navalny.
