KUALA LUMPUR (MALAYSIA) – Former prime minister Najib Razak on Tuesday was found guilty of all seven graft charges levelled against him by a Kuala Lumpur High Court judge. It is the first trial of a case connected to a multi-billion dollar embezzlement at state fund 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB).
“After considering all evidence in this trial, I find that the prosecution has successfully proven its case beyond a resonable doubt,” Kuala Lumpur High Court judge Mohamad Nazlan Mohamad Ghazali said.
