Mainland China reports 31 new COVID-19 cases
BEIJING (CHINA) – As many as 31 new coronavirus cases were reported in the mainland on Aug 7, down from 37 a day earlier, said the Chinese health authority on Saturday.
Out of the new cases, six were imported infections involving overseas travellers compared to 10 similar cases reported a day earlier, said the National Health Commission.
There were also 14 new asymptomatic cases, same as a day earlier.
In the mainland, the total number of infections is 84,596, while the death toll is unchanged at 4,634.
