MOSCOW (RUSSIA) – Interfax news agency reported on Saturday that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko spoke with his Russian counterpart President Vladimir Putin over the phone and discussed the situation in the country.
Earlier on Saturday, Lukashenko had said he wanted to speak to Putin, warning that street protests in the capital Minsk were not just a threat to his country.
