LONDON (UK) – The Nightingale Hospital in London set up within nine days at London’s Excel Exhibition Centre to handle the coronavirus crisis gets its first patient admissions.
The facility was officially opened on Friday by Prince Charles and will provide up to 4,000 beds with ventilators and oxygen. These can be used for those requiring further COVID-19 intensive care treatment.
25,000 doctors, nurses and support staff will be working at the location once fully operational.
