LONDON (UK) – A YouGov opinion poll has shown that the opposition Labour Party has levelled with the ruling Conservatives for the first time since Boris Johnson became Prime Minister in July 2019.
The data released on Friday revealed that the Conservatives and Labour enjoyed 40% support. It was based on an online survey of 1,618 adults between Sept. 16 and Sept. 17.
A previous survey on Sept. 9 showed the Conservatives having 42% support and the Labour Party having 37%.
This is for the first time that a YouGov survey has shown both parties enjoying the same support level since the resignation of Theresa May.
