Iran’s coronavirus single-day death toll hits highest since August
TEHRAN (IRAN) – Iran’s coronavirus death toll rose by 207 to 25,222 on Friday. A health ministry spokeswoman said that the total number of identified cases increased to 439,882.
It was the highest single-day death toll since August 1 when the ministry registered 216 deaths.
Ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari told state TV that 3,563 new cases were identified in the last one day in Iran.
