DUBAI- On Monday, a passenger Caspian Airlines plane slid off the runway onto a highway as it was landing in a southwestern Iran airport.
All passengers were evacuated without injury.
The Caspian Airlines Boeing flight No 6936 was carrying 135 passengers and departed from Tehran to Mahshahr early Monday morning. It slid off the runway, but no casualties were reported.
A technical issue delayed the landing of the plane causing the accident. The plane didn’t catch fire and all of the passengers left the plane safely.
