MILAN (Business) – Alstom SA and Snam signed a five-year agreement in order to develop hydrogen trains in Italy according to a joint statement on Thursday.
Under the agreement, Alstom plans to manufacture and maintain new or converted hydrogen trains. Alternately, state-backed Snam will make the infrastructure to produce and transport the hydrogen for refuelling.
