LONDON (UK) – England and Wales’ coronavirus death toll’s true extent till April 10 was 41% higher than the government’s daily figures.
This is based on data that includes deaths in the community.
The Office for National Statistics recorded 13,121 deaths by April 10, as compared to 9,288 in the government’s daily coronavirus toll for those who died in hospital.
