Disney releasing ‘Frozen 2’ on streaming platform three months before planned
On Friday, Walt Disney Co said that it would make the Frozen sequel available on its Disney+ streaming platform three months before schedule in the U.S., in response to the coronavirus outbreak.
Frozen 2 will be available in the U.S. from Sunday as a surprise to families with fun and joy during this challenging time.
Cinemas have been shut down in most countries to curb the spread of coronavirus while the largest theatre chains in the U.S. halved their seating capacity.
Frozen 2 shall be available in Canada, the Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand on Disney+ by March 17th.
