PENNSYLVANIA (US) – President Donald Trump conducted a campaign in the crucial battleground state of Pennsylvania on Tuesday, exhorting supporters to give him a second term in the White House in order to ensure a total recovery from the pandemic and its economic repercussions.
Addressing an airport rally in Erie, Trump said Pennsylvania could place him on top in the Nov. 3 poll and warned that Democratic rival Joe Biden would destroy the state’s jobs in the energy and manufacturing sectors.
“This is an election between the Trump super recovery, which is happening right now, and a Biden depression,” Trump told supporters, who stood shoulder to shoulder and many of them were not wearing masks.
“If you want open schools, an open economy and a safe, healthy, thriving country, vote for me,” he said.
Biden was off the campaign trail on Tuesday in order to prepare for this week’s debate with Trump.
