Czech Republic reports 2,309 new coronavirus cases
PRAGUE (CZECH REPUBLIC) – The Czech Republic reported 2,309 new infections. This is the third highest daily rise since the coronavirus pandemic hit. However, the number was slightly down from 2,392 the previous day, health ministry data showed on Thursday.
Infections have been rising in the country at the second fastest rate in Europe, with a tally of 55,464 cases.
Authorities have reimplemented some measures to control a spread in the virus, from Thursday.
