In 2016, Rogers embarked on a global farewell tour but since April 2018, he cancelled his last few shows due to a series of health challenges.
The three-time Grammy winner and Country Music Hall of Famer is best known for his songs like “The Gambler” and “Islands in the Stream”.
Rogers began his career with a jazz group in the 1950s and went solo in 1970s with his break-through single in 1977 called “Lucille”.
