Coronavirus death toll in Switzerland climbs to 1,059
ZURICH (Europe) – The coronavirus death toll in Switzerland has reached 1,059 people, according to the country’s public health agency, which is a rise from 1,017 on Thursday.
The total number of people who tested positive for COVID-19 disease increased to 27,078 from 26,732.
The Swiss government plans to ease its restrictions gradually to curb the coronavirus spread from April 27, with the reopening of hairdressers and nail bars.
