On Sunday, British Airways said that its Chief Operating Officer Klaus Goersch and Director of People Angela Williams were to leave the company.
The COO position will be filled by the former Director of Engineering Jason Mahoney. The Director of People position will be filled by IAG Cargo’s former Director of People Stuart Kennedy.
Goersch intends to shift back to North America while Williams has decided to leave in the next few months, according to British Airways.
Executives of the company have faced a tumultuous year having to deal with a pay dispute resulting in the first pilot walkout in British Airways’ history.
IAG, which owns the airline, has seen many managerial changes. IAG’s long-time CEO Willie Walsh is stepping down next month in March to be replaced by Luis Gallego.
