WENCHANG (CHINA) – In its first independent mission to enter another planet, China launched an unmanned probe to Mars on Thursday. This would mark their step towards global leadership in space and showcasing its technological mastery and ambition.
China’s largest carrier rocket, the Long March 5 Y-4, set off with the probe from Wenchang Space Launch Centre, located on the southern island province of Hainan, at 12.41 pm. (0441 GMT).
