British Prime Minister Boris Johnson prepares to impose restrictions on migrants of low skill looking to move to Britain on the first-day post-Brexit’s transition period ends.
Johnson’s aides are drawing up plans under which the government will put forward post-Brexit immigration shake-up by two years. This means the removal of the temporary extension of the current rules till 2023 which was demanded by business groups.
Home Secretary Priti Patel will be presenting the proposals to Cabinet this week as part of UK’s future immigration system’s papers.
