CAIRO- While on a phone call with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Iraq’s Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi iterated the importance of de-escalation in the Middle East.
Abdul Mahdi also condemned the attacks on the U.S. embassy in Baghdad and made a pledge to boost protection of it from Iraq’s end.
He also reiterated the importance of everyone respecting Iraq’s sovereignty.
