LONDON (UK) – The government has said that it will place restrictions on the export of flu shots being used in the country this winter, adding that sufficient supplies are in place as it undertakes a programme to administer the vaccine.
“This action will protect our supply of flu vaccinations, as part of our plans to give 30 million of the flu vaccine ahead of this unprecedented winter,” said health minister Matt Hancock on Friday.
Given the resurgence of the pandemic, there has been a spurt in demand for the flu shots across the globe.
