PARIS (FRANCE) – Junior Housing Minister Emmanuelle Wargon said that the French cabinet will meet on Tuesday to talk about further measures to tackle the coronavirus pandemic.
When asked about the possibility of a curfew for cities such as Paris where cases are on the rise, she referred back to Prime Minister Jean Castex’ comments that such options cannot be cancelled.
The number of people under the treatment in French intensive care units for COVID-19 went beyond 1,500 on Monday for the first time, authorities said.
President Emmanuel Macron will talk about the epidemic on Wednesday evening, his office said.
