LONDON (UK) – Coronavirus-related restrictions on two households mixing would be eased off in parts of Greater Manchester, Lancashire and West Yorkshire from September 2, Britain’s health ministry said on Friday.
However, a tight lockdown would continue in Leicester for two weeks more as cases remain high, the ministry said in a statement.
Around four million people were given strict orders on July 30 not to have close interactions with other households in Greater Manchester, parts of West Yorkshire and East Lancashire.
